This itinerary takes us from the hamlet Ponciach up on the mountain of Faver until we reach, through woods and huts surrounded by tiny lawns, the peak Cima Castion where you can enjoy a beautiful 360° landscape.

From the top of the hill you can watch the valley Valle dell’Adige from Trento to Bolzano, the peaks of Brenta and Paganella, the mountain Bondone and the mountain range Lagorai to the Dolomites with the range named Pale di San Martino.

Author’s recommendation

On the top of the peak Castion there is a small altar with a little bell. People climbing to the top are encouraged to ring it before enjoying the silence and the landscape.

The most beautiful time is the sunset time when the sun goes down behind the peaks of Brenta range.
