Starting at nightfall, with snowshoes on your feet, and experience a beautiful excursion on a beaten path surrounded by nature, until arriving at moonlight, at Potzmauer mountain hut in Valle di Cembra to taste tipycal and traditional dishes and the best local wines, to then sleep warm in the Mongolian tent "Yurta".
The route reaches the Potzmauer hut in about 2 hours walk throught silver fir woods, spruce and Scots pine, immersed in a basin of lawn sorrounded from fir woods.
Potzmauer was once a mountain cottage, then abandoned with the end of farming activity in the valley. It was then bought and restructured from Grumes municipality, that delegates the management of the hut to capable managers. The hut is a stop point both for a gastronomic pause and for an overnight stay and is also a halfway point for longer excursions to other interesting places like the peat bogs of "Lac del Vedes", Valda lake or Santo lake.

Getting there
For those coming from Trento, follow the SS.612 Once in arrived in Grumes follow the signs for Masi di Grumes, then for Masi Alti. The car park is located immediately after Maso Giovanni. For those coming from Val di Fiemme, follow the SS 612 southwards to Grumes. Go past the entrance to the town and at the traffic lights turn right following the signs for Masi di Grumes, then for Masi Alti. The car park is located immediately after Maso Giovanni.Parking
