Hike – a journey back in time around Bad Bayersoien

Turn-by-turn directions
Go over the bridge over the main road following the signs for Ammer/Bärenbach and continue along a field pathway until you reach an information board on the "Origins of the landscape". From the information board, turn left along the tarred field pathway before bearing left at the turn-off signposted "Bärenbach".
Continue past the Kneipp facility towards the village, passing under the main road and heading for the centre. At the next crossroads, turn off towards the "zum Fischerwirt" and proceed to the right around the lake until you reach the mud treading pool.
Turn away from the lake at the northern grassed sunbathing area. Keep left at the hikers' car park and, after a few minutes, turn right into the "Panoramaweg". At the end of this panoramic route, continue straight on to the moor information board rather than turning off in the direction of Kirmesau.
From here, proceed along the same route until the turn-off for Kirmesau, which you take. When you arrive in the hamlet, turn left and go past the moor areas (to the left of the road) and the meadows (to the right). You will then finally reach the village and return to the starting point of the hike.
