Vom Scheinbergparkplatz gehen Sie über einen Teil des berühmten Maximilansweg durch das idyllische Sägertal vorbei an der Bäcken Alpe zum Bäckenalmsattel unter weiter zur Kenzenhütte. Auf dem Rückweg folgen Sie zunächst dem Ostallgäuer Höhenweg in Richtung Tegelberghaus, zweigen dann aber nach kurzer Zeit links ab und gelangen über das Lösertaljoch und den Lösertalgraben zurück auf den Aufstiegsweg ins Sägertal.
