Turn-by-turn directions

The starting point of the tour is at the Calvary statue. The route leads behind the statue over the ski downhill trail of the Kolben to the "Grottenweg".

Continuing along this path, you soon ascend to a higher level, the Kälberplatte. A wooden sign opposite indicates the way to the Döttenbichl.

Turn left uphill into the forest until you reach a knoll. Proceed downhill again for a short stretch – the route is marked in some places by a yellow dagger – until you reach the excavation site.
