Wir weisen ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass vorgeschlagenene Wegabschnitte einem allgemeinen Fahrverbot nach §41 Zeichen 250StVO unterliegen können oder nach §41 Zeichen 241StVO nur für Fußgänger zugelassen sind. Für die Begehung von Ordnungswidrigkeiten in diesem Zusammenhang wird nicht gehaftet. In beiden Fällen ist das Schieben des Bikes zulässig.
Bitte nehmen Sie immer Rücksicht auf Fußgänger und Wanderer. Machen Sie sich rechtzeitig bemerkbar, reduzieren Sie die Geschwindigkeit und steigen auf engen Wegen ab und schieben das Fahrrad. Wir appellieren für ein respektvolles Miteinander von Wanderer und Biker.

Turn-by-turn directions
Shortly before the turning into Staatsstraße to Linderhof, turn off right onto a gravel road which will bring you onto Sonnenweg at the farmsteads in the hamlet of Rahm. This is a narrow pathway, and you will need to look out for pedestrians.
Once you have passed Graswang, turn right onto Kohlbachweg. You will now be riding on a broad gravel road. Ignore Linderhof Palace Park for the moment and continue to cycle uphill. After two steeper short climbs, follow the hiking trail that leads up from the Palace Park and crosses the forest road.
From here, the route is uphill all the way on a path that has been in a very good condition for some years. You will emerge from the forest at the point where the path branches off to the right and leads on up to the Hennenkopf and the Pürschling. Passing the service hut, you will already be able to see the "Brunnenkopfhäuser" (1602 metres).
Another option is to continue on foot to the Klammspitze (1924 metres), from where there are magnificent views over the whole of the Ammergau Alps as far as the Zugspitze and Tyrol.
The return journey is via the same route.
