Es lohnt ein Abstecher zur Fatimakapelle in Saulgrub. Die kleine Kapelle wurde vom heil aus Kriegsgefangenschaft heimgekommenen Josef Leismiller errichtet.

Turn-by-turn directions

Starting from the church in the main village street in Saulgrub, hike along the ridgeway to Acheleschwaig inn. The return route to Saulgrub is via Achelestraße.

At the hamlet of Achele and depending on the snow and weather conditions, there is the option of continuing for approximately 20 minutes to the Kammerl power station and for a few minutes further to reach the Scheibum Ravine, where the River Ammer breaks through the rocks in spectacular fashion.

sehr schöne Wintertour, Weg geräumt, haben noch den Abstecher vom Kammerlwerk zum Scheibum (Ammerdurchbruch) und die Variante über den Böhmer Weiher und den Höhenweg gemacht mit spektakulärer Rundsicht
