Die Tour startet direkt an der Touristinformation in Oberammergau. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es kostenlos auf der Eugen-Papst-Straße. Sie folgen der Ammer Richtung Graswang bis Sie mitten im Naturschutzgebiet Weidmoos sind. Zum Einkehren bietet sich die Ettaler Mühle an bevor es wieder zurück Richtung Oberammergau geht.

Bitte nicht auf der präparierten Langlaufloipe laufen!

Weidmoos Moor

Turn-by-turn directions

Starting in Oberammergau by the Ammer, follow the river upstream towards Ettal. At the crossroads just before Ettal, turn off right to Ettal Mill and cross the valley through Weidmoos Moor.

You will see crystal clear streams which flow into the Ammer a little later. Make your way back to Oberammergau on the other side of the Ammer.

Alternatively, after Ettal Mill, cross the main road to head back to Oberammergau on the "Vogelherdweg". Although this pathway is not maintained, it is mostly easy and safe to walk on. Duration approximately 2 hours.
