On the final stage, the Panorama Trail runs once again over the picturesque hills right along the mountain slopes of the Schwarza Valley.

You start the approx. 20 km long tour at the Dissau Gate between Sitzendorf and Schwarzburg. Past the pheasantry cross the railway line of the Schwarzatalbahn at the Bechstedter Tor and follow the path further to the Trippstein. Stop here for a moment and enjoy the breathtaking view of Schwarzburg and its surroundings. Now follow the ridge trail through the forests of the Schwarzatal valley until you reach the small village of Cordobang. Past the fields of the plateau, Böhlscheiben follows shortly after and from here you head back into the forest.

Soon afterwards you reach another highlight of this stage - the Griesbachfelsen. The Griesbachfelsen rises steeply üabove the abyss, almost 50 m üabove the Schwarzatal. The steep descent to Bad Blankenburg ends your journey through the Schwarza valley. After you have left the allotment gardens behind you, you wander through the small old town of Bad Blankenburg.

If you like, you can take a detour in Bad Blankenburg to the Fröbelmuseum or to the Greifenstein Castle. Burgschänke and Falknerei are definitely worth a visit.

Passing the Schenkenberg, you will soon reach Schwarza and the confluence of the now stately river into the Saale.
