Turn-by-turn directions

We start the tour at the Lower Market area in Murnau. First you proceed via the castle moat to the Tengelmann Centre and then ride onto Kochlerstraße. Via the bike route we reach the Murnau Accident Hospital. After that the route goes down into the moor. In Mühlhagen we turn off to the right in order to get to Hechendorf. From Hechendorf we follow the Loisach River to Weichs, cross under the autobahn and reach Ohlstadt with a view of the Heimgarten. Now we follow the signage to Glentleiten. Now the tour continues on a long uphill on the so-called “flattened road”. After a long turn we reach a bench with a great view into the valley. Now the route once again goes slightly uphill, but you can already look forward to a long downhill. This leads past the Kreutalm alpine pasture to Schwaiganger. We once again cross under the autobahn and again pass the glider airfield back in the direction of Ohlstadt. Shortly after Pömetsried you have to tackle a little stretch with pushing the bike in order to arrive at the Murnau Moor. From Achrain we follow the already known route back to the starting point.
