Distance 21.3 km
From Emmelshausen it goes through the Baybach valley to Morshausen. On the way, you will cross the most beautiful sections of 4 dream loops (Oberes Baybachtal, Rabenlay, Baybachklamm, Murscher Eselsche) and stage 22 of the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig.From the Tourist-Info Hunsrück-Mittelrhein in the ZAP, you reach the valley along the Heilbrünnchen via the dream loop Oberes Baybachtal, which you reach at the Striedersmühle. Originally, 32 mills lined the banks of the Baybach; today, only the Schmausemühle is still in operation, which you reach after about 2.5 hours of varied hiking through gorge-like passages. Before and after the Schmausemühle, the trail passes the dream loops Rabenlay and Baybachklamm, where the brook forces its way between the rocks, past gallery entrances of former roof slate pits, later secured by ropes over rock cliffs until the valley opens up a bit. The dream loop Murscher Eselsche then leads up to Morshausen with magnificent distant views.Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
