We start at the Old Town Hall in Fürstenfeldbruck, Hauptstraße, and follow the signposted cycle route Ammer-Amper-Radweg (AAR) in the direction of Eching am Ammersee to Kottgeisering: over the Amperbrücke, past the church of St. Leonhard, the Aumühle and the former monastery Fürstenfeld we reach Zellhofstraße, which leads to Shcöngeising.
On the AAR we drive through Schöngeising. Continue along the B471 past Marthashofen to Grafrath. At the Amperbrücke we leave the AAR, drive right hand along the Amper to Klosterstraße, to make a detour to the pilgrimage church of St. Rasso.
Along the B471 we return to the AAR and drive to the church of St. Valentin in Kottgeisering. Immediately turn right into Ammerseestrasse and follow the small Kirchweg to Dorfstraße and Jesenwanger Straße uphill, past the sports field and about 300m after the railway underpass towards Brandenberg.
Follow the road through the forest to the hamlet Brandenberg, where the road leads us now to Moorenweis. At the parish church St. Sixtus we meet the signs of the Amper-Lech-Radweg (AL).
This leads us on the Angerstraße out of town until Albertshofen and briefly steeply uphill to the hamlet Franzbauer. After passing through the village, we take the dirt road immediately to the right and continue straight across the fields and along the edge of the forest to Jesenwang. Here we follow the signage of the NahTourBand (nTB) past the parish church of St. Michael, at the vicarage over the pilgrimage church of St. Willibald to Landsberied.
In Landsberied we follow the via Julia following the Roman road uphill (not signposted nTB!) And back down to the edge of the forest in front of Schöngeising. At the beginning of the Schöngeisinger forest we turn left after about 50m into the forest road to Rothschwaige. After about 300m we meet the nTB-signage in the forest, which leads us over the Rothschwaige to Fürstenfeldbruck,
Via the Rothschwaiger road downhill and left into the Schöngeisinger road into the city we get back to the starting point.
