Turn-by-turn directions
We start at the Old Town Hall in Fürstenfeldbruck, Hauptstraße, drive to the town hall and turn left into the Pucher Straße. After about 500 m, we reach the left hand School Nord, the first Energiewende place: The school was renovated with passive house elements, so that it requires very little heating energy. Continue straight on and over the Kurt-Schumacher-Straße to Puch. There we turn right into the street Zur Kaisersäule and drive to Lindach. Now follow the signs for the Isar-Lech-Radweg (IL) to Mammendorf. In Malching, a large open-space photovoltaic system produces electricity for about 1,500 households on the left hand side. In Mammendorf we follow the cycle path signage into the commercial area, turn left towards Hattenhofen and drive under the B2. On the right is a biogas plant, which mostly uses residual materials (liquid manure, manure). It provides the outdoor pool and a small commercial area with heat. Past the outdoor pool we drive towards the wind turbine and turn right into a dirt road. From here you can take the path to the wind turbine on the left, which has been generating electricity for around 1,500 households since the end of 2014. Back on the dirt road we drive this to the end, turn left to Eitelsried and turn right towards Pfaffenhofen. On the right hand side lies the biogas plant of Egg, which feeds its biogas into the natural gas grid. We turn around, follow the signs to Landsberied and from there to Schöngeising. Here we meet the Ammer-Amper-Radweg (AAR) direction Kloster Fürstenfeld. At the Amper stands the hydroelectric power plant, which began in 1892 the electrification in the district. We continue to cycle on the AAR to Fürstenfeldbruck. The event forum we pass under the covered arcade, cross the zebra crossing and drive towards the city center. On Lände we can see another hydroelectric power plant on the left. In addition, a combined heat and power plant generates electricity and heat for the city center. Via the Schöngeisinger Straße we cycle back to the starting point.
