Once, the Bavarian King Maximilian II climbed this path to pursue his favourite hobby: hunting. The path leads past the memorial chapel (Kriegergedächtniskapelle) to the St.-Martin hut from which its visitors have a great view over the entire valley. From this sunny outlook, you can see the entire valley surrounded by Mount Wank and the Zugspitz- and Wetterstein Mountain ranges. You will definitely feel like a king here! d the Zugsisee the whole valley surrounded by Wang, inbikes and it is a great tobbogan run in winter.
