1st station: Encounter God
Walk through the sparsely grown deciduous and coniferous forest, follow the path in the direction of the Kochelbergalm Alpine hut and continue over mountain pastures to the Partnachalm Alpine hut. There, to the south of the Alpine hut, you will find the
2nd station: The Lord is my shepherd
Go back on the path for a short distance and follow the signs to the Bayern-Haus and Hausberg. A small path to the left will lead you uphill. Past the Bayernhaus you will arrive at the storage lake and the
3rd station: On the way
Follow the signs to the Garmischer-Haus and Kreuzalm Alpine huts. The cross at the Kreuzalm is the
4th station: Eager for more
Follow the path to the top terminal of the Kreuzeckbahn cable car and along the rare plants to the Hochalm. At the cross, you will have a magnificent view over the valley of the Isar. Here is the

The path beneath the Hochalmbahn cable car leads you from the Hochalm to the top terminal of the Alpspitzbahn cable car and, a short distance uphill, to the Osterfelderkopf mountain. There, you will find the last (or first)
6th station: Refuge and protection

Public transport
The Deutsche Bahn (German Federal Railway) offers comfortable and regular connections to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Use the station’s rear exit, turn right after having passed the Zugspitzbahn rack railway and walk to the Olympia-Eissport-Zentrum (Olympic Ice Sports Centre), walk past it and continue to the Alpspitz-Wellenbad (swimming facilities) (this is a 5 min walk).Getting there
Take the motorway A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen to its end at Eschenlohe, continuing on the state road B2 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Follow the signs to the Garmisch part of the town.
If you are coming from Mittenwald, follow the signs in the direction of Grainau/Zugspitze/Reutte when you have reached the intersection at the Rathausplatz (town hall square).
If you are coming from Grainau/Ehrwald (Tyrol), follow the signs "Ortsteil Partenkirchen".
When you are near the station, signs will point you the way to the Alpspitz-Wellenbad/Olympia Eissport-Zentrum, regardless of which direction you are coming. The signs will point you to the big parking area, which is the starting point of our tour.
