Easy round hike with refreshment stops on two pleasure huts
For this hike, you should definitely visit at least one of the two huts along the way. If you bring a little more time, the inn keeper tell you something about their philosophy of alpine farming: where the fresh products of meat and milk come from, why a close relationship with their producers is important and what the award as an Austrian "pleasure hut" means. And all this with a view of the sensational mountain panorama of the rear Kleinwalsertal.
Take binoculars and look for chamois and ibexes on the rocks!
Hiking trails, huts and attractions can also be found in the nature adventure map, which can be purchased at the tourist office in Hirschegg.

From the parking lot in Baad, it goes over the bridge following the Bärguntbach into Bärgunttal. After a short while we turn left; in front of us lies the rock massif of the Bärenkopf. Soon the Widdersteinalpe is reached, on which one can treat oneself a first break. The dirt road leads along dense forest slopes to the exposed Bärgunthütte, the second rest stop, which offers homemade and regional food. From here on the left hand side of the Bärguntbachs on pram-friendly paths back to Baad.
