moderate
Distance 22.2 km
At the foot of the imposing Drei-Schwestern (The Three Sisters) massif, you come to the road which leads to the village of Planken which lies on a mountain platform around 800 meters above sea level. Once past the last houses the route branches off into the forest and continues on an even climb to the pastures of Alp Gafadura.
From May to October the Gafadura hut invites you to linger at your destination before you tackle the descent.
