Wildschloss Tour

The tour starts at the forestry in Schaan and continues southbound on almost flat ground, along the much used Fürstenweg. The short climb to the ruins of the Wildschloss, whose walls date back to the 12th century, begins at the highest point in Vaduz. The hiking trail proves to be a demandingly steep and narrow descent to the valley which passes the so called Spörry-Weiher (Spörry factory pond), an artificial storage tank for generating electricity. The rest of this relaxing bike tour heads north through various forest areas and along the idyllic Iraggell pasture to the forestry.
