Start your tour to the Faldumalp in Ferden. From there an old Alpine path leads at a pleasant gradient past many blueberry plants up to the summit famed for its views. Each metre of the climb rewards you with more and more of the breathtaking mountain panorama. On the Faldumalp you can also visit the beautiful chapel dedicated to "Maria zum Schnee" (Our Lady of the Snow) and you will also be treated to a magnificent view over the entire Lötschental. As there are no places to stop off for a bite to eat on this tour, you should ensure that you have adequate food and drink with you.
