Mozart Cycle Path – Stage 07: Waging am See – Chieming am Chiemsee

From the centre of the market town of Waging, past the Shell petrol station – turn left onto Traunsteiner Straße, in the direction of Oberaschau. Slightly uphill over an unrestricted railway crossing – at the next give way sign, take a right to the districts of Hochreit and Öd. At the T-shaped junction in Strass, take a left towards Kammer. Go through the town of Kammer on the Neuhauser Straße – then to the town of Neuhausen – take a left towards Kaltenbach – to Aiging – on the left, take the underpass under the railway line in the direction of Nussdorf. In the village of Nussdorf, cycle past the Town Hall – take a left at the T-shaped junction – after the late Gothic St. Laurentius Church, take the first left onto the Dorfstraße, then left again into the Weidangerstraße – go along the Sondermoninger Straße, past the gravel pit, to Sondermoning. In Sondermoning, turn right before the church and then left onto the Harterstraße in the direction of Egerer. Shortly before the small town of Cheb, turn left onto the Wasserloherstraße – go along the Poststraße towards Chieming am Chiemsee. At the Hauptschule (school), turn right onto Mitterweg in the direction of Stöttham (if you were to continue straight on, it would take you to Chieming).
