Mozart Cycle Path – Stage 15: Bad Reichenhall – Berchtesgaden

From the junction of the Mozart cycle path variant (via the Tauernradweg directly to Salzburg) in Bad Reichenhall on the Tiroler Straße via the Florianiplatz and the Peter-and-Paul-Gasse – go for a short distance on the cycle path by the federal road – turn left onto the Gmainer Feldweg – on side-roads uphill past the Schloss Gruttenstein Castle to Bayerisch Gmain – turn right off the Grossgmainer Straße (straight ahead the Tauernradweg leads to Großgmain) – soon we reach a cycle path along the federal road to Berchtesgaden – then comes a steep climb to Hallthurm – Holzstube – short stretch on the federal road – from Winkl, there is again a private cycle path to Bischofswiesen – later turn left towards Stangaß – underpass – Stangaß – then downhill to Berchtesgaden into the city centre (Rathaus/Town Hall).
