A tour through the old town of Görlitz
Another special feature of Görlitz can be found in St. Peter’s Church. The world-famous "Sun Organ" which was built by Eugenio Casparini in the 17th century. The unique organ can imitate sounds such as birdsong.

Via Weberstraße you will reach the Bäckerstraße, which is located close to the Klosterplatz. The eye-catching building was a monastery, but today it is a part of the Augustum-Annen-Gymnasium. The Elisabethstraße can be reached via Klosterstraße. The Elisabethstraße connects the old town and the city centre of Görlitz. Follow the Elisabethstraße to the Marienplatz. Here you can find the "Dicker Turm", waterworks and the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History. Lots of seats invite you to relax.
