Forti di Napoleone
Great ruines and fortifications, wrongly known as "Napoleon fortifications", were built by the Austrian army between 1802 and 1805.
The fortifications were built in different periods on the way Giudicarie - val di Non; the first part of them, auf Dosso di Mezzolago, dates back to August 1703; bewteen 1796 and 1801 the Austrian built a defensive fortification against the French army, coming from Giudicarie.

Getting there
Motorway exit Trento nord, then direction Val di Non and Altopiano della Paganella. At the exit of the long tunnel, near the village of Mezzolombardo, we turn right on the SP 64, direction Fai della Paganella - Andalo - Molveno.
