Turn-by-turn directions

An undemanding walk along a dirt road that runs along the paved path around the Lake of Andalo. The starting point is at the riding school in the Sports Park (Andalo Life Park), where we take the forest road and we continue in the woods for about 3 km.

The end point is the "ermine’s lair", a beautiful alpine hut in the woods where you can have a snack or refreshment.

Public transport

Trentino Trasporti - line 611 - Local train from Trento to Mezzolombardo (line Trento - Malé). From Mezzolombardo to Andalo take the bus. 

Getting there

If you come from the North side: At the roundabout near motorway exit you turn right on Mezzolombardo. After travel across the village, following the driving direction for Fai della Paganella - Andalo - Molveno 

 

If you come from the South side: From the motorway exit of Trento Nord you proceed on Val di Non e Altopiano della Paganella, at the exit of Mezzolombardo tunnel you turn on the right on SP 64. You proceed on Fai della paganella - Andalo direction. 

Parking

In the centre of Andalo or near the swimming pool (payment parking), near the sportscentre (free parking).

La passeggiata alla tana dell’ ermellino si può fare anche d’ inverno con i passeggini? Ci sono altre escursioni invernali da poter fare con passeggini? Grazie

Buongiorno Donatella; tutto, naturalmente, dipende dalle condizioni meteo. Senza neve, la passeggiata alla Tana dell'Ermellino si fa tranquillamente anche con passeggino, così come altre proposte su Outdoor Active nella sezione dedicata; con neve al suolo, dipende dalla quantità e dalla compattezza del manto nevoso che, solitamente, viene comunque "battuto" dalla slitta trainata dai cavalli che abitualmente percorre la strada.
