The route crosses the historic center of Rovereto and climbs along the mule track that leads into the Valle di Terragnolo up to Noriglio. This is also the way that the women of Noriglio used in the past, to go down to the city and sell the products made in the village

Turn-by-turn directions

You go up the streets of the city center passing in front of the mortar placed in Piazza Podestà, at the foot of the castle of Rovereto. From there, along Via delle Fosse and Via Acquedotto, you reach a mule track with a dirt and partly cobbled road that leads, passing through the hamlet of Valteri, to the Church of Noriglio. The return takes place along the same path.

Public transport

The point of departure and arrival is within walking distance of the Corso Rosmini Posta and Corso Rosmini Monumento bus stops. The train station is less than a ten minute walk along Corso Rosmini.

Getting there

From the A22 Rovereto Nord or Rovereto Sud motorway exits along the SS12 del Brennero you reach the city center, the meeting point for the excursion.

Underground parking (for payment) near the information office.
