Turn-by-turn directions
After having parked, stay on the SP3. It takes you to the western side of the town, where you can see the signs indicating the direction for the “Cimitero di Guerra” [War Cemetery], and trail 654 towards “Pianaz, Rifugio Fos-Ce”. The road leads downhill and passes “Cimitero di Guerra” locality.
Continuing along the same trail, you go a bit further downhill, along the road, until “Pianaz” locality, at an altitude of 1195 m. Now the trail heads uphill, and continues through the vegetation. You continue along the trail marked 654 and, at about 1320 m asl, the forest road ends. Here you take the path (which is still marked 654) which climbs, on a steeper slope now, to the mountain hut.
You return by following the same path or walking along road SP3 to the starting point.
