Tour on dirt road from Polsa to Monte Vignola, suitable for families and children.

The tour starts from Camping Polsa (altitude 1300m) and goes towards Monte Vignola (itinerary 1946) up to the great impluvium built by the Austro-Hungarian army (1495m altitude). From here you can choose to reach, in about 15 minutes, the top of Mount Vignola, to enjoy the beautiful panorama. You can extend the route by going uphill again to Colme di Vignola (1541m altitude) and then enjoy a pleasant descent towards Bocca d'Ardole, passing through Malga Susine, to return to the starting point (itinerary 1948). Along the panoramic road you will enjoy picturesque views and cross a wooden bridge on a deep gorge.

From the parking area near Camping Polsa, follow uphill the dirt road towards Monte Vignola. To extend the tour continue straight on along the only road that goes slightly up to Colme di Vignola and then descend to Bocca d'Ardole from where, through Malga Susine, you will return to the starting point.

Getting there

From the A22 highway take the Rovereto Sud exit and follow the signs to Brentonico plateau and from there to Polsa.

From Lake Garda follow the signs to Mori (Rovereto, SS 40) From Mori go up along SP3 of Monte Baldo to Brentonico and then continue to Polsa.
