An easy climb through coniferous woods leads in an hour and a half to the wide meadows of Monte Finonchio near the refuge of the same name. From here the descent takes place on comfortable dirt roads for over 10 km and 1000m in altitude to the hamlet of Noriglio, where the route continues along the ancient roads connecting the center of Rovereto. From Rovereto it is possible to reach Serrada by bus.

Turn-by-turn directions
From Serrada follow the signs for the Finonchio Refuge. The route always climbs on a dirt road until it comes out on the summit meadows of the mountain. On the right you will soon reach the refuge, while the itinerary continues straight, starting the descent immediately. Shortly after, the road enters the fir and larch woods, passing through the locality of Gelmi and Colonia S. M. Goretti. Here, on an asphalted road, near the locality of Fontana Fredda (altitude 890m), head towards Moietto. The descent continues smoothly towards Rovereto passing through Cisterna and Noriglio.

Serrada can be reached from Rovereto by bus (line 315) departing from near the railway station.Getting there
From piazza Rosmini, at the opposite end of the main street of Rovereto which connects the railway station with the center, follow the signs for Serrada (about 10 km). The itinerary starts from the town center at via Finonchio.Coordinates
