From the city center to the Castel Dante Ossuary and the site of the Dinosaur footprints. From here, along the Sorgente Prà forest road, the route connects to the historic Austro-Hungarian military road to the top of Monte Zugna.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the center of Rovereto, take "Via Dante" (towards the hospital). At the roundabout near the church “S. Maria", follow the signs for "Campana dei Caduti - M. del Monte - Military Monument ”. The route continues along the “Artiglieri” road to the hairpin with the “Orme dei Dinosauri” marking. From here, WALK on a gravel road to the intersection with another uphill gravel road on the left, to the paved road that leads from “Albaredo” to the top of “Zugna”.

It is possible to arrive in Rovereto either by bus or train.

A22 Brennero motorway, Ala, Avio exit, Rovereto Sud / Lago di Garda Nord and Rovereto Nord exits.

Parking

The closest car park is in Piazzale Achille Leoni, Rovereto (parking fee on weekdays). Free parking near the Quercia stadium.
