Very demanding tour, but that can give you great satisfaction. It starts from Rovereto, at the bottom of the valley, to reach the Cimbri Highlands after some difficult climb, crossing some hamlets of the uncontaminated Valle di Terragnolo. The green of the woods and the quiet of the valley will accompany you along most of this route while on your return you will find yourself passing behind the imposing Castel Beseno, the largest fortification in Trentino. Various dining options along the way, where you can taste some of the typical dishes of the area, such as the fanzelto di Terragnolo.

From Rovereto you climb up to Serrada along an easy initial 18 km climb. The next 11 km, up to an altitude of 1,785 of Valbona fork, are quite challenging, interrupted only by a slight descent of about 2 km after Passo Coe. Attention to the asphalt, uneven in some points in the last stretch of climb, then along the subsequent 24 km of descent and on the slight slope to Passo Sommo (1,340 m asl). From Passo Sommo begins a short descent towards Folgaria, with a stretch of 3 km slightly uphill to Serrada, and finally a long descent on an excellent mantle of 15 km to Calliano. Return to the starting point following the cycle path that runs along the Adige river, passing from Nomi to Rovereto.
By road
From the A22 exits of Rovereto Nord or Roverero Sud, you reach the village of Borgo Sacco. There, taking as reference the building of the former Manifattura Tabacchi, we reach the Leno torrent, where we meet the small bridge of the Zigherane.Parking
