Turn-by-turn directions
From Malga Mortigola, go up across the meadow to the dirt road that delimits the upper edge. Here, turning right, continue for about half kilometer along the road that goes into the woods. At the crossroads, near a house, take the slightly uphill road to the left towards S. Giacomo and continue until you meet the signs for the SAT O622 path. From here, take the road to the left again and go down through the meadow keeping the marked path until you meet the dirt road again. Turn left again along the last stretch of the downhill dirt path that will take you back to the starting point of the itinerary, the "malga".
Public transport
You can easily reach the town of Brentonico by public transport. We recommend that you consult the website www.trentinotrasporti.it in advance. Additional runs up to S. Giacomo-S. Valentino can be activeted during the year.By road
From the motorway exit Rovereto Sud, take direction Mori and then reach Altopiano di Brentonico/Brentonico Plateau following the SP3.At the junction after Brentonico village, take the street on the right to reach San Giacomo-San Valentino.
