Turn-by-turn directions
From Hotel San Giacomo, take the flat street that goes behind the little church, till you reach the snowy rink. From that point, go ahead, following the track that goes up and down and passes above Malga Mortigola. At the fork, go up through the wood till you will reach a clearing. From there keep on going up through the beech tree forest. At the fork, follow the steep track that goes down towards San Giacomo, you will then reach B&B Mas dei Girardei in the meadows above San Giacomo and then from there, follow the curvy road that leads you to the village. Long excursion with medium height difference.
By road
From the motorway exit Rovereto Sud, take direction Mori and then reach Altopiano di Brentonico/Brentonico Plateau following the SP3.
At the junction after Brentonico village, take the street on the right to reach San Giacomo.
