The damp green rock walls of the Teufelsgrund are getting closer and closer to the path. Suddenly you are standing at the narrowest, darkest spot in the middle of the Devil's Chamber. On the sides we see fairy-like sculptures of lichens and ferns, shadow plays, dripping water and mosses that soak up moisture like sponges. For the particularly adventurous, there is a small extra loop: To do this, follow the signs "Rundgang Teufelsschlüchte" on the right from the Teufelsgrund and then keep to the right so that you descend into the Teufelsgrund again with the "Rundgang Teufelskammer".
After the Teufelsgrund, our hike turns left into the Wehlener Grund (red dot) and continues (green line) into the Utterwalder Grund until we reach the Waldidylle inn. We follow the path marked with the green dot until we reach Uttewalde and turn left there to reach the starting point of the hike via Alte Uttewalder Straße.

From Pirna railway station, take bus 238 in the direction of Stadt Wehlen to the Uttewalde stop (Monday to Friday), at weekends take the S-Bahn S1 to Stadt Wehlen, cross over by ferry and walk along the Malerweg (orange markings) to Uttewalder Grund, where you can join the hike.By road
From Lohmen: follow the signs to Uttewalde or Wehlen. Pass the turn-off to Uttewalde and then park opposite the next copse on the left.Via Dorf Wehlen: In Dorf Wehlen, turn off towards Lohmen (to the left, past the church), follow the road across the field and park in the parking area on the right (opposite the large copse).
