Starting point of the tour is the village square in Schöna. On the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Weg it goes up to the Kaiserkrone. By the way, the Kaiserkrone is the strongly fissured remnant of a table mountain. Three different viewpoint offer an impressive panorama with the Schrammstein chain, the Großer Winterberg and the Bohemian Switzerland.The tour then leads through flat terrain over to Zirkelstein, which is considered the smallest of the local table mountains. A series of iron ladders leads up to the rock plateau. A worthwhile stop after the tour is the Gasthaus "Am Zirkelstein" in Schöna, where delicious dishes are lovingly prepared from regional ingredients.
