De wandeling begint in Pirna-Liebethal bij de ingang van de romantische Liebethaler Grund. Volg de Wesenitz naar de Daubemühle molen, langs het monumentale Richard Wagner monument (gemaakt door Richard Guhr, 1933) en de overblijfselen van de voormalige Lochmühle molen. U steekt de Wesenitz over en komt in Mühlsdorf. Over de Alte Lohmstraße, later langs de bosrand, wandelt u naar de coördinatensteen 51° N 14° E. Via de Querweg, de Brückwaldweg en de Schleifgrund bereikt u de Uttewalder Grund met de beroemde rotspoort. Rotsen omzomen het pad tot aan Stadt Wehlen. Daar komt de tocht langs de overblijfselen van een van de oudste kastelen van de regio. Om op het marktplein te komen, moet u nu rechtsaf. De Malerweg leidt naar links.GPS GEGEVENS bijgewerkt 2021

- the road becomes one lane, passing the exit Jessen Bonnewitz through town (speed limit 30!)
- 500 m after the Bonnewitz town exit sign, turn right towards Liebethal
