Away from the Hustle and Bustle – on Quiet Paths to the Kneipp Facility
In brief: The entire hike leads along asphalt or well-maintained gravel trails, completely flat through Lofer. At the beginning, walk through the Market Street and further along the foot and cycle path alongside the main road. After the detour to the Kneipp facility you cross the road and follow a quiet gravel path between the edge of the forest and the Loferbach (stream) – past the children's playground – back to the centre of Lofer. Refreshments available at several places in the centre of Lofer.
Tour highlights: After ca. 1.5 kilometres you reach the Kneipp facility Lofer where everyone has the chance to exercise their feet in the prickly, cold water. After ca. 2.2 kilometres you will reach the children's playground.
The tour is part of “Hiking with Kids” in the Salzburger Saalachtal. The duration and difficulty are suitable for children/families.
