This tour connects many towns in Sauerland in a very practical manner, but not necessarily in a very bike friendly or scenic matter. Especially in the southern part, cyclists often share the road with fast driving cars. It's smelly and noisy. The most scenic part is the part between Finnentrop and Eslohe. The other parts are not recommended for cyclists looking for the most scenic part of Sauerland or historical or natural highlights. The tour does not take cyclists true historic parts of towns and villages, and is sometimes poorly marked.
