Short but difficult option with the Suvretta Pass as the destination. The track begins pleasantly above the «Beverly Hills» of St. Moritz to Corviglia. 3 steep ramps sweeten things up; dismounting is not an option. The last section of the ascent is technically demanding, but do-able. The real test is the downhill run. The last third of the boulder-strewn trail is definitely challenging and lots of fun even for top bikers. The second third is all about losing height, unfortunately down a gravel track, but the final third offers a number of hairpins and rooted trails through the high-alpine forest. The beauty of the landscape on the way down? Didn't notice - I had enough on my hands trying to stay in the saddle! (says an ambitious biker)
Note(s) The ascent in the opposite direction is not possible!
