The self-catering hut is located directly on the Tauplitzalm.
In the hut there is a camp for a maximum of eight people. In winter you can directly enter the cross-country ski trail. The ski slopes are in the immediate vicinity. In summer a hiking trail leads directly past the hut.

The ascent to the Tauplitzalm is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)
In summer you can drive up to the hut. In winter, the car must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hut.
