Die Giglachseehütte (1.950 m ü. A.) ist eine private Hütte mit Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in den Schladminger Tauern am oberen der beiden Giglachseen.
Allgemeines
Die Giglachseehütte ist Ausgangspunkt für viele Kurz- und Weitwanderungen und liegt direkt am Weitwanderweg Nr. 702, am westlichen Ufer des oberen Giglachsees.
Unterkunft
Die Hütte bietet im Lager für 30 Personen Unterkunft sowie zwei Vierbettzimmer. Dusche und Warmwasser sind vorhanden.
Erreichbarkeit
Zufahrt mit dem Auto oder mit dem Linienbus ab Schladming sowie mit dem Auto ab Pichl über die Ursprungalmstraße bis zur Ursprungalm. Ab der Ursprungalm beträgt die Gehzeit bis zur Giglachseehütte ca. eine Stunde.
Bewirtschaftung
Die Giglachseehütte wird von Mitte Juni bis Anfang Oktober von der Familie Sieder bewirtschaftet.
