The hut is located on the Tauplitzalm at the foot of the Schneiderkogel.
It is a rustic self-catering hut with room for up to 20 people. There is a mattress dormitory for six people, a mattress dormitory for ten people and two smaller rooms. The large lounge is heated with a wood stove.
The ski slopes are easily accessible. In summer you can start directly from the accommodation to the Six Lakes Hiking Tour.

The ascent to the Tauplitzalm is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll) In summer you can drive up to the accommodation.
In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hut.
