Eine Schutzhütte des Alpenverein Austria
Die Haindlkarhütte ist eine Schutzhütte des österreichischen Alpenvereins (Sektion Austria). Sie liegt im am Fuße der imposanten Nordwände der Hochtorgruppe auf einer Seehöhe von 1.121m.
Der attraktive, etwa eineinhalbstündige Zustieg führt durch abwechslungsreiches Gelände bergan und begeistert Kinder ebenso wie Erwachsene, wobei die malerisch-mystische Umgebung jegliche Anstrengungen vergessen lässt.
Zwischendurch besteht die Gelegenheit, sich mit kaltem Bergquellwasser zu erfrischen oder im Schatten eines Felsblocks zu entspannen und sich am herrlichen Blick auf die gegenüberliegende Buchsteingruppe zu erfreuen.
[Bn]Auf der Hütte kann man sich mit regionalen, liebevoll zubereiteten Köstlichkeiten für weitere Touren stärken und das gemütliche Ambiente in oder rund um das Schutzhaus genießen.
