Die urige Keinprechthütte liegt am Fuße der Zinkwand auf 1.872 m umgeben von einer faszinierenden Alpenfauna- & flora. Die bodenständige Küche zeichnet sich durch regionale Schmankerl und Spezialitäten aus. Für Weitwanderer und Bergliebhaber bietet sich die Möglichkeit zu übernachten. Außerdem ist die Hütte auch beliebter Einkehrstopp am Schladminger-
Tauern Höhenweg.
Die Hütte ist über mehrere Wege erreichbar:
- Eschachalm (1,5 Std.)
- Ursprungalm – Giglachseen – Rotmandlspitze - Keinprechthütte (4-5 Std.)
- Brotrindl zur Landawierseehütte ins Lungau oder weiter zur Gollingscharte

Die Keinprechthütte bietet auch Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und ist Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in den Schladminger Tauern - in Richtung Landawirseehütte und Ignaz-Mattis-Hütte.
