The karstic springs #strumern are not only a temporary and unique natural phenomenon in Pichl-Kainisch, but also a strong natural place of spiritual energy. The powerfulness of the springs depends on the thaw on the glacier "Dachstein", because a subterraneous cave system makes this mirical happen.

The Strumern are not only a temporary and unique natural phenomenon in Bad Mitterndorf/Pichl-Kainisch, with which everyone should have already taken a photo, but it would be much more important to experience them with all senses as a place of power.

The #strumern are karst springs, which means they are part or outflow of a karst system that forms underground caves and creates springs through washouts when the snow melts on the Dachstein. The #strumers are dependent on snowmelt and therefore only visible in spring at this time. The water bubbles seemingly at random from the forest floor and after some time joins together to form a real river. The fascination that lies in the combination of water and forest is demonstrated in a very unique way and creates not only meditative moments, but also allows you to clearly experience the power of nature in this unique spectacle.
