We start in Mariazell and drive at the gas station on the B20 in the direction of St. Sebastian, here we turn left into Erlaufseestraße and turn left again at the NKD to get on the bike path to the lake.

Passing the soccer field, we cross the state road once and ride the bike path to Lake Erlaufsee and along it to the Zellerrain turnoff. Here we keep left again and cycle through the Grünau to the Teichmühle. In the Rasing turn left again and on the B20 back to Mariazell.

Equipment

A few tips for safe cycling:
  • Check your bike's air pressure, spoke tension and brake pads after every tour.
  • A helmet is a must for every bike tour.
  • Consider in advance what equipment you need to take with you: warm clothing, rain and wind protection, a repair kit and first aid kit belong in your backpack, as does a charged cell phone.
