Turn-by-turn directions
- We start at the village square in Fischbach
- Past the old farmhouses we walk to the grocery store
- After the grocery store we turn into the settlement street
- We walk along the road
- After a short ascent we reach the Mitterstuck through the forest
- We pass some farmhouses
- After the farmhouses we turn left into a small forest path towards Waldandacht
- We follow the markings until we come back to the road of the lower Mitterstuck
- From the farm Pöcklhofer we pass the orchard until we reach the farm Riedlerhof
- From the Riedlerhof we walk down a field path and at the Kreuzriegel up again
- After the Kreuzriegel we reach the Kurpark including the Freizeitland Fischbach
- From the recreational area Fischbach we return to the village square

Anreise von Wien: A2 bis Neunkirchen, S6 Richtung Langenwang, Abfahrt Schwöbing über das Alpl. Durch St. Kathrein und danach weiter nach Fischbach.
Anreise von Graz: A2 bis Abfahrt Gleisdorf, B64 Richtung Weiz. Kreisverkehr vor Weiz auf der B72 Richtung Anger, Birkfeld, Fischbach.
Anreise von Salzburg: 145 übis Liezen, danach weiter nach Leoben, von Leoben Richtung Kindberg (S6), Stanz über Mürztal, Fischbach.

Proper backpacking makes a lot of things easier!Pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be within easy reach in a side pocket.All things that are often needed such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top. An emergency kit including blister plaster belongs in every backpack and a clothing according to the "onion system" is always recommended! A good hiking boot is a good companion and should never be missing on the mountain! Before the start of the hike, check the opening times for refreshment stops and pack the appropriate food.
