The Landler Spazierweg #3 is a bit more challenging as the gradient is a bit steeper. You can walk the trail well with children, but you should use sturdy shoes. The walking time is about 1 h 15 min to 1 h 30 min.
Distance 6.1 km
Highest point612 m
Lowest point479 m
You start at the former inn and walk down to the right towards the main road. At the fire station you go left up the hill and then down again. At the main road you walk back towards Gams, back to the starting point.
A visit to the geo-workshop Gams der Nothklamm and the Kraushöhle is highly recommended!
A proper backpack packing makes many things easier: Pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be handy in a side pocket. All the things that are often needed like sunglasses, camera or hiking map belong on top. An emergency kit including blister plasters belongs in every backpack and clothing according to the "onion system" is always recommended!
From the starting point, turn right and continue down the path. You will reach the main road and turn right here. Passing a shoe shop, you walk to the turn-off where you drive to the geo village. At this junction, turn left and continue up the path past the fire brigade. When you reach the top, the path forks and you continue to the left. The next time the path forks, turn right and go down the hill again. After some time you will come to the main road again, where you turn right and walk back to Gams. Go straight on, past the Adeg food store and the fire brigade. You pass the shoe shop again and then turn left again, where you came out before. You walk up the path, back to the starting point. The walking time of this route is about 1 h 15 min.
