The Naas Cave Trail is a real must for all cave lovers. Only a few minutes by car from Weiz, the Naas Cave Trail is perfect for a short hike with the whole family. The trail leads along forest paths and forest tracks to the Grasslhöhle Cave and then over the Lärchsattel to the Katerloch Cave. Great views included. There is something for everyone on this circular hike. Whether exciting information about the caves or great views to Weiz. Recommended for a beautiful warm sunny day.

Equipment

  • Before starting the hike, check the possibilities for refreshments or pack the appropriate food.
  • A good hiking boot is a good companion and should never be missing.
  • An emergency kit (blister plaster!) belongs in every backpack.
  • It is always advisable to dress according to the "onion system".
  • Don't forget rain gear, sunglasses and a water bottle, as well as a camera and map.

Proper backpack packing makes many things easier: pack heavy things first. The water bottle should always be within easy reach in a side pocket. All things that are often needed, such as sunglasses, camera or hiking map, belong on top.
