We start from the natural jewel Grüner See and walk through the picturesque Klammboden. At the so-called Plotschboden we keep slightly to the right (short insurance) to the Häuslalm, an institution in the Hochschwab area. From the Häuslalm, the trail then continues downhill, in the face of the mighty rock falls of the Zinken, to the Bodenbauer.
Tip: be sure to visit the Hochschwab Museum at the Bodenbauer!

Turn-by-turn directions
At a fork in the trail (point 1,005m), we take the right-hand path and hike somewhat steeper uphill to the Scheideck, which is rich in views. From here we descend again to the Heinzleralm or to the neighboring Joseralm (tip: visit the Josersee!).
From here, a wide road leads us downhill to Alpengasthof Bodenbauer, our overnight accommodation for today.
Tip: from Klammboden you can also hike to Bodenbauer via Klammboden, Plotschboden (short insurances) and Häuslalm, choosing the left variant.
This trail variant is much more scenic, but also about 3 hours longer than the main trail.
