Distance 64.1 km
Starting in Bad Mitterndorf, you keep heading east. There are several side roads that are basically all usable.
From the ski jump it reduces to one last road, which you follow to the Tauplitz train station and which is then oriented towards Spechtensee.
Arrived at the highest point, it is recommended to take a closer look at the Spechtensee - it is worth a rest.
In the Trautenfels Castle Museum there is always an interesting exhibition during the summer months.
Author’s recommendation
In the summer months you can enjoy a wonderful swim in the Spechtensee and have a wonderful meal on the terrace of the Spechtenseehütte.
